PLEASE NOTE: 

There will be no contraflow or lane closures on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veteran’s Day, unless otherwise permitted.

— H-1 FREEWAY — 

1) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Two to three right lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Naval Access Road underpass to the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Deck Repairs. Closure hours vary by day of the week and are: 

  • 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, through 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 
  • 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8 through 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 

Note: The closure will start with two lanes closed at 7 p.m. and increase to three lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.  

 

2) WAIPAHU TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Two to three right lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Naval Access Road underpass to the Waimalu off-ramp (Exit 10) from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Nov. 13 for the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Deck Repairs. 

Note: The closure will start with two lanes closed at 7 p.m. and increase to three lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.  

 

3) WAIPAHU TO PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the left-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of Paiwa Street and the Farrington Highway on-ramp, from 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the evening of Friday, Nov. 7 for installation of pavement markings.  

 

4) PEARL CITY 

Right shoulder closure on the Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 8B) from the westbound H-1 Freeway, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, through Friday, Nov. 14, for slope improvements.   

 

5) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (NIGHT WORK) 

Two to three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Hugh Street underpass and the Kaonohi Street overpass, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 11 and Wednesday, Nov. 12 for work as part of the Pearl City & Waimalu Viaduct Repairs. 

Note: The closure will start with two lanes closed from 7p.m. and increase to three lanes from 8 p.m. through the duration of the closure.
 

6) STADIUM TO AIRPORT VIADUCT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three lanes closed on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, between the Halawa Heights/Stadium off-ramp (Exit 13B) and the Nimitz Highway/Airport off-ramp (Exit 15), continuously closed from 6:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. from Friday, Nov. 7 through Monday, Nov. 10 for paving work as part of the H-1 Salt Lake Rehabilitation project. 

 

7) STADIUM TO AIRPORT VIADUCT (NIGHT WORK)  

Two lanes closed on the right-hand side of the westbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of Kahuapaani Street and Valkenburgh Street, from 8 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 12 for installation of temporary striping.  

Note: The Nimitz Highway on-ramp to the westbound H-1 Freeway will be closed during this work. Motorists will be detoured via Kamehameha Highway.  

 

8) PEARL HARBOR (NIGHT WORK) 

Roving closure of two lanes on the right-hand side of the eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Luapele Drive underpass and Makalapa Drive, on the evening of Monday, Nov. 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. for roving core sampling work. 

 

9) AIRPORT VIADUCT (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Closure of three right lanes building to a full closure of westbound H-1 Freeway/Airport Viaduct from the Nimitz on-ramp to the Airport off-ramp from 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, through 12 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, for the Airport Viaduct Repairs. 

  • Full westbound closure from 11 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Saturday 
  • Three lane closure from 6 a.m. Saturday through 11 p.m. Saturday 
  • Full westbound closure from 11 p.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Sunday 
  • Three lane closure from 6 a.m. Sunday through 12 a.m. Monday.  

The following ramps will be closed during this work:  

  • Airport off-ramp (Exit 16) from the westbound H-1 Airport Viaduct  
  • H-1 Middle Street on-ramp to the westbound H-1 Airport Viaduct (during full closure only) 
  • Kamehameha Highway on-ramp to the westbound H-1 Airport Viaduct (during full closure only) 
  • Nimitz Highway on-ramp to the westbound H-1 Airport Viaduct (during full closure only) 

Motorists may use Nimitz Highway as a detour to the Airport. 

 

10) AIRPORT VIADUCT TO KAHALA 

Roving single lane closure on the H-1 Freeway possible in either direction, between Puuloa Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, Wednesday, Nov. 12, and Thursday, Nov. 13, to address pothole, litter, and sign requests.  

Note: Closure may be of the left, right or center lane; one lane to be closed at a time. 

 

11) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Ola Lane overpass and Richard Lane, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. For more information, visit the project website: https://h1awidening.com/. 

 

12) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK) 

Two right lanes closed on the eastbound H-1 Freeway in the vicinity of the Ola Lane overpass and the Likelike Highway off-ramp (Exit 20A) from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following day on Monday, Nov. 10 through Friday, Nov. 14, for work as part of the H-1 Freeway widening. 13) HONOLULU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway, in the westbound direction, in the vicinity of the Likelike Highway on-ramp (Exit 20A) and the Gulick Avenue overpass, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. 14) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/ NIGHT WORK) 

Two right lanes closed on the westbound H-1 Freeway in the vicinity of the Richard Lane and Iao Lane from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. the following day, on Friday, Nov. 7, for work as part of the H-1 Freeway widening. 

The following ramps will be closed during this work: 

  • Halona Street on-ramp to westbound H-1 Freeway 
  • Likelike Highway on-ramp to westbound H-1 Freeway

Right lane closure on eastbound H-1 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Pali Highway overpass, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 13 for guardrail work.  

 

16) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Right lane closure on the eastbound H-1 Freeway, along the Punchbowl Street off-ramp (Exit 21B), from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 for lighting repairs.  

 

 

— H-2 FREEWAY — 

1) WAHIAWA (NIGHT WORK) 

Right lane closure on the northbound H-2 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Leilehua Golf Course Road overpass and the Wahiawa Interchange, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 11 for bridge inspections.  

 

2) WAHIAWA (NIGHT WORK) 

Right lane closure on the southbound H-2 Freeway, in the vicinity of Higgins Road and the Wahiawa Interchange, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. on the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 11 for bridge inspections.
Note: The Kamehameha Highway on-ramp to the southbound H-2 Freeway will be closed during this work.  

 

3) WAIPAHU (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder closure on the southbound H-2 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Ka Uka Boulevard on-ramp and the Waipio Self Storage, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for construction of access road.   

 

 

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY — 

1) HALAWA TO MOANALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Left lane closure on the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, in the vicinity of the Kahuapaani Street overpass and the Puuloa Road overpass, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 for grass trimming, litter removal and shoulder scraping.  

 

2) HALAWA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)  

Right lane closure on the eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, in the vicinity of the H-3/Kaneohe off-ramp (Exit 1C) from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 12 for sign work.  

 

3) HALAWA TO HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three right lanes closed on the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the vicinity of the Halawa Interchange and Richard Lane, nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day on Sunday, Nov. 9, Wednesday, Nov. 12, and Thursday, Nov. 13, for repaving. Full closures of the Halawa/H-3 Freeway off-ramps (Exit 1D/1E) from the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14 for repaving work along the ramps. Single lane closure on the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, in the vicinity of the Halawa/H-3 Freeway off-ramps (Exit 1D/1E) from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 12 for sign work. 

 

6) MOANALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Three lanes closed on the westbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, in the vicinity of the Ala Napunani Street underpass, from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 12 for sign replacement work. Closure will be of the left lanes, then switch to right later during the closure. One side closed at a time. 

 

7) MOANALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Two lanes closed on the eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, in the vicinity of the Puuloa/Tripler Hospital off-ramp (Exit 3), from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 12 for sign work. Closure will be of the left lanes, then switch to right later during the closure. One side closed at a time. 

 

8) MOANALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK) 

Right shoulder closure on the eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway, in the vicinity of the Puuloa Road off-ramp (Exit 3) and the Puuloa Road overpass, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 13 for guardrail work. Closure will be of the left lanes, then switch to right later during the closure. One side closed at a time.  

 

9) FORT SHAFTER (NIGHT WORK) 

Full closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway off-ramp to the H-1 Freeway, in the eastbound direction, in the vicinity of the Honolulu/ King Steet off-ramp, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10 through Friday, Nov. 14 as part of the H-1 Freeway Widening. — H-3 FREEWAY — 

1) KANEOHE  

Right lane and shoulder closure on the Kaneohe-bound H-3 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Halekou Interchange and the Kamehameha Highway off-ramp (Exit 11), from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14 for landscaping work. Note: The Kamehameha Highway off-ramp will be closed for a portion of this work, then continue as shoulder work toward Kamehameha Highway.    

 

2) KANEOHE TO HALAWA (WEEKEND WORK) 

Roving right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway, possible in either direction, in the vicinity of the Kaneohe-end of the Harano Tunnels and Hawaiian Cement, from 3 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 for grass and tree trimming.   

 

3) KANEOHE 

Roving right lane closure on the Kaneohe-bound H-3 Freeway, in the vicinity of the Harano Tunnels and Hawaiian Cement, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 13 for lighting repairs.   

 

 

— PALI HIGHWAY/ KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY/ KAILUA ROAD (ROUTE 61) — 

1) KAILUA 

Single lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Ulumanu Drive and Uluhala Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14 for traffic signals project. Potential closures of a single lane in both directions (for a total of two lanes) may be necessary.  

 

2) KAILUA (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right shoulder, bike lane and sidewalk closures on Honolulu-bound Kalanianaole Highway/Kailua Road (Route 61), in the vicinity of Uluoa Street and  Ulumanu Drive, 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for sidewalk construction as part of the traffic signal project. 

 

 

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 63) — 

1) KANEOHE TO KALIHI  

Roving right lane closure on Likelike Highway (Route 63) possible in either direction between the Kalihi-end of the Wilson Tunnels and Nalanieha Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 13 for grass and tree trimming, and litter removal.  

 

 

— SAND ISLAND ACCESS ROAD (ROUTE 64) — 

1) SAND ISLAND (24-HOUR CLOSURE) 

Right lane closure on eastbound Sand Island Access Road (Route 64), fronting Sand Island Wastewater Treatment Plant entrance, on Saturday, Nov. 8 through Friday, Nov. 14, over a 24-hour period, for construction of new right turn pocket. 

 

 

— KANEOHE BAY DRIVE (ROUTE 65) —

Right shoulder closure on eastbound Kaneohe Bay Drive (Route 65), in the vicinity of Aumoku Street and Nohonani Place, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10 through Friday, Nov. 14 for erosion control work.

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72), possible in either direction, between Nakini Street and Makapuu Lighthouse Road from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14 for sign work.  

 

2) KOKO HEAD  

Alternating right lane closure on eastbound Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in the vicinity of Nawiliwii Street and Lunalilo Home Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10 for HECO utility pole replacement.  

 

3) HAWAII KAI TO KAHALA  

Roving right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72), possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Lunalilo Home Road and Ainakoa Avenue, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14 for maintenance activities to address complaints.

Roving single lane closure on Jospeh P. Leong/ Kamehameha Highway (Route 83), possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Opaeula Stream Bridge and Kapuhi Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14, for installation of permanent markings where repaving is completed. 4) KAHUKU 

Alternating single lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kahuku District Park and Puuluana Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14 for construction of drainage culvert and headwalls.  

 

5) HAUULA TO PUNALUU  

Roving right lane closure on Kaneohe-bound Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in the vicinity of Aakahi Gulch Road and Punaluu Valley Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10 and Wednesday, Nov.1 2 through Friday, Nov. 14 for tree trimming.

Closures on Nimitz Highway (Route 92) between Awa Street and Richards Street on Sunday, Nov. 9, through Friday, Nov. 14, over a 24-hour period, for HART work includes:

Alternating single lane closure on eastbound Farrington Highway (Route 7101) between mile post 0.6 and 1.02, in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 12 through Friday, Nov. 14 for utility installation and relocation, manhole relocation and grading work in the vicinity of HECO substation.
